About the Artist
Kevin Trivedi
Artist & Founder, ArtistScape
Kevin Trivedi is a contemporary California painter, educator, and curator whose artistic practice explores relationships between humanity, nature, energy, and transformation.
Trivedi holds an MFA in Studio Painting from the Academy of Art University and a BFA in Painting and Illustration from the College for Creative Studies.
For Trivedi, philosophy is as much a part of his palette as color and form. His paintings begin with ideas and questions, but their development remains open to intuition, experimentation, and unexpected discoveries.
Trivedi believes that painting involves an exchange between artistic intention, the developing work, and possibilities that extend beyond conscious planning.
He founded ArtistScape in 1999 and continues his studio and curatorial practice in Northern California.
