Kevin Trivedi’s “Black Vase” transforms a simple still life into a study of form and perspective. Viewed from overhead, the deep, velvety black of the vase contrasts sharply with its surroundings, emphasizing its elegant curves and the interplay of light and shadow. The circular opening becomes a visual anchor, drawing the viewer inward, while the composition’s simplicity invites quiet contemplation. This piece captures the essence of still life—where everyday objects become windows into depth, texture, and artistic perception.

Kevin Trivedi’s Folsom Footbridge captures the quiet charm of a historic bridge bathed in warm, natural light. The rust-red steel structure stands resilient against a lush, rolling landscape, evoking nostalgia and a sense of passage. Expressive brushwork and rich textures bring depth to the scene, blending impressionistic strokes with realistic details. Light and shadow play across the bridge and surrounding terrain, enhancing its dreamlike quality. The path leading into the distance invites viewers to step into this tranquil moment. A compelling mix of history and beauty, this piece transforms an everyday landmark into a poetic visual experience. Perfect for collectors of landscape and architectural art.
